Akanksha Vyas
Akanksha Vyas leads the WomenXCode community in Mumbai. She has been running women in tech communities since 2017. She is the Co-Founder and CTO at Pinky Promise, where she's building one of the world's first AI/ML stacks for women's health. She has been working in technology for 12+ years, mostly at small startups, and is previously a 3x founding CTO. She has worked deeply with AI, 3D-printing, and blockchain, with experience at Autodesk, Bodylabs (Now Amazon), Idfy, and some open source initiatives. Akanksha is also a visiting faculty for technology and design at NMIMS and KJ Somaiya. In her free time she works at a bookshop.
"I started this community because I attended a Women Who Code event in Mumbai back in 2017 and out of 100 people at the event there were only 4 women who code. I knew there were more of us and it was important to create a space which reflected that. This community has helped me grow a lot over the years."
